Robert Wagler has been giving financial advice to individuals and businesses for more than 35 years. He began his career as a staff accountant at a CPA firm before moving into the private sector. He worked his way up from Accounting Manager to CFO of multiple companies. After spending nine years as a Financial Advisor with a major broker-dealer, Robert believed there was a better and more efficient way to serve his clients, so in 2017 he set up his own group, Wealth and Financial Advocate Group, to offer more comprehensive financial solutions to his growing client base.
Rather than working for the company, he works for his clients. Robert believes every client is unique and believes in developing a custom plan for each. He strongly believes that integrity and ethical behavior are requirements when dealing with someone else’s finances, which is why Robert only operates under the fiduciary rule - doing what is in the best interest of the client.
Robert has been sought out for his unusual ability to both visualize creative solutions and implementing the resulting plan through thorough and analytical attention to detail. Robert is a strong believer in teamwork, and his background is the foundation for developing a solid network of specialists as part of his team.
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®). He graduated from Cedarville University and has received numerous awards and recognitions.
Robert is happily married to his lovely wife, Angel, and has two lovely daughters, McKenzie and Lorin. Away from business, he coached youth and high school soccer for many years. He enjoys golf, boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He is blessed beyond measure.
Note from Bob: These are verses that came to me when I first became a Financial Advisor. I have the incredible privilege of helping God richly provide my clients with everything for their enjoyment and taking hold of the life that is truly life!
1 Timothy 6:17-19 New International Version (NIV)
17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
